Due to Manitoba’s recommendation for social distancing, Tesshin canceled practices to support our members and community. Practices cancelled until further notice, but reviewed weekly.

Effective from June 22, 2019:

Tuesdays: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Saturdays: 10am – 12:pm (*Until August 31)

Location: Same as the current location (Linden Woods Community Centre, 414 Lindenwood Dr W, Winnipeg MB R3P 2K5)

We are moving to summer schedule. Tuesday is unaffected and will continue 6pm-8pm. 
Saturday practice will take place from 10am – 12pm. This change will start June 10 and will continue June July and August. The change is meant to allow people more time to enjoy the summer. 

We will resume 12pm practice in September. 

**exemption – June 24 will be a 12pm practice.

There will be no practice Saturday May 20th due to a large event at LWCC. 
We are looking at an alternative practice Monday morning May 22nd in the large gym from 10am- 12pm but will confirm.

• February 13th Saturday, In house grading.
• March 11-13th, Saturday Class cancelled due to Saskatoon seminar.
• Bi-annual fees are now due.
• CKF 2016 fees are due.

Please make note of the following changes –

Saturday November 28th 12:00pm-2:00pm is cancelled due to a pre-existing event at Lindenwoods community centre.

New student inquires welcome – Please ensure that you read the web page “Joining Tesshin” for the best possible start up information. New students considering joining Tesshin Kendo Club are welcome to visit either of our 2 classes without appointment.

Now accepting members: Tesshin Kendo Club is pleased to invite new comers to join kendo September 5th (Saturday at 12:00pm) for the 2015/2016 training year. Interested prospects are encouraged to watch Kendo anytime Saturday between 1pm and 2pm during the month of August and collect appropriate forms for membership.  Club location and related information can be found on this website.
